If you're in the third Exploring stage of our 5 Steps To A Magnificent Midlife Roadmap, you're well on the way to living a fulfilling midlife and beyond. Well done! You'll be developing your life plan and building a tool kit personal to you. Let's get started.

Living With Courage Workshop

Part of the Members Club is to provide the strategies, support and connection you need to live the life you’re supposed to live, rather than necessarily the one you’ve ended up with. If this is feasible of course.

But doing that can be pretty scary huh! In this workshop, with the very wise and inspiring Ruqqaya Daville, we pick apart what it takes to live life with courage. We look at what courage is, how we can cultivate it and draw on our own reservoirs of it day to day.

In this section of the workshop we talk about what courage looks like to you

  • Getting to know your shadows and illuminate your light
  • Going deep into what courage can be for you
  • Feeling afraid but diving in anyway
  • Transforming through practising courage

  • Re-working our personal stories
  • Changing our perspectives
  • Working out how we want to feel
  • Working towards making our desires a reality

  • Making courage a habit

Empty Nest Workshop

Welcome to the Empty Nest workshop! Empty Nest Coach Christine Maziarz joins us for a look at how to cope when our children leave home and how to make the most of our empty nest.

Lesson 1

In this section of the workshop we talk about the importance of taking time to process this often momentous time for parents. 

We cover:

  • The importance of taking time to process the change and make any new decisions
  • Simmering the pot of emotions and ideas
  • Being kind to ourselves in this period
  • Processing sadness over the transition
  • Noticing thoughts and challenging them
  • Being patient with our partners as much as with ourselves
  • Not comparing ourselves to others in terms of where they may be on the empty nest transition

In this section of the workshop we look at how to uncover future you:

  • Stepping out of who we've been as a parent
  • Finding ourselves again
  • Learning to dream again
  • How to come up with ideas - delving into our youth
  • Finding ways to cultivate your creativity
  • Schedule time to allow the ideas to flow
  • Realizing the power we have in later life
  • Getting comfortable with the idea of a side hustle

  • Choosing an idea to explore and see how it will work
  • Imagining a different future and how it feels
  • Evaluate ideas and decide if they work for you
  • Get comfortable with pivoting
  • Setting a good example for our kids
  • Setting boundaries when they come home

Personal Power Plant

Learn how to access and energize your own personal power plant with high performance coach, Beth Larsen. This is a workshop with a difference and it’s a lot of fun. We’re sure you’re going to love it. We get very practical in section three so hang on for that and enjoy!

Lesson 1

In this video we'll cover:

  • Beth's background and how it lead her to completely re-evaluate her high-powered life
  • How early menopause and burnout brought about a complete change of direction
  • The difference between high achievement and high performance
  • How the power plant generates and actually transmutes energy
  • The elements that make up the power plant and how to access those personally

The 5 surprising things effecting your energy:

  • Environment:  your fertile soil - people, places, surroundings
  • Mental:  conscious/subconscious
  • Emotional:  triggered by our thoughts
  • Physical:  breath, water, food, movement; what you're putting in and on your body
  • Spiritual connection:  connection to source energy around us.  Like a plant uses photosynthesis to convert light into energy   (God, Universe, Source energy, Gaia/Mother Earth).
